GLY - Youth Group

GLY (Grace Lutheran Youth) Group meets every Sunday through the school year from 3:30-5:00 p.m.  

All youth from grades 9th -12th grade are welcome. This group is led by Pastor Dan Baldwin, with help from Traci and Molli Lippelgoes.

In addition to materials chosen by Pastor Dan, the youth also suggest subject matters that are covered in addition to discussing current events and how they affect them.

This year, we are focusing on the Bible to follow along with the Bible Challenge that our whole community of faith is engaged in. Be in touch with Traci or Pastor Dan about weekly details. 

We are also looking to start a group for 6th - 8th grade youth sometime soon.  Stay posted for further details!

2018 ELCA Youth Gathering 

Nine of our youth will be attending the 2018 ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston Texas next summer from June 27th to July 1st. The Gathering consists of five program areas – Community Life, Interactive Learning, Mass Gathering, Service Learning and Synod Day. Congregational groups will be assigned a to rotation schedule to experience Interactive Learning, Synod Day and Service Learning. All participants gather nightly for Mass Gathering and on Sunday morning for closing worship. Community Life activities are available in several locations throughout the day.  Our youth will be conducting fundraisers to help them pay to attend and travel to and from the event.  Please support them in any way you can, as this event can be live changing for all involved.  More details can be found at the event site: http://elca.org/YouthGathering
